Samsung Electronics Company Limited, officially ordered it employees to not make any comments on the Galaxy Note 7 debacle that has managed to tear the Galaxy flagship smartphone apart. The company is hopefully attempting to regain customers’ lost, but it seems in the process, it is terribly neglecting its employees.
Samsung executives and employees have received an internal email which has requested them to increase the security of discussions related to the explosive Note 7 incidents.
They do not have the authority to speak to anyone about this, especially the media. A change in executives can be expected as the company is rethinking its options and considering reshuffling executives in the hardware department.
This is the main cause behind increased frustration among Samsung’ employees. However, Samsung did told anything about not making any major management changes as a reaction to what it has been facing.
At least 70% of its workers are working outside, South Korea, the company’s hometown. But, it remains to affects the global workforce. The employees would be pleased to know, that the company hasn’t planned to make any job cuts for now.
Samsung previously planned to launch its next smartphone, the S8, next year, but analysts now expect the process to slow down following the Note 7 fiasco. However, Samsung itself has not confirmed these rumours of Galaxy S production being affected by the blow.
