It looks like we can still expect some news on the upcoming Nintendo console, codenamed NX, sometime this year. A Nintendo of Europe representative has confirmed that Nintendo is still planning on revealing more information on the NX at some point this year.
Nintendo NX is still on schedule for a March 2017 release date, according to a huge new leak on Reddit. As previously reported, a large retailer leak hints that the console will indeed have a handheld component, something which will allow users to “interact with your game on the go”.
With the Nintendo NX reveal date coming soon, marketing materials suggest a Super Mario title will launch with the console, which is said to release with “four titles on deck”.
Interestingly, despite fears that the Nintendo NX will be delayed, retailers will reportedly receive their demo units in February, a month before the proposed March release date.
The Nintendo NX is said to cost $299, although there will be a bundle available for $399.
